Zoning Hearing Board

Roaring Brook’s Zoning Hearing Board consists of five residents appointed by the Board of Supervisors for a term of five years. Some of the duties of the Board are: conducting hearings and making decisions regarding variances, special exceptions, curative amendments, land use and conditional use under the zoning ordinance. An advertised public hearing is held with a stenographer recording all testimony and an appointed solicitor present at the hearing. All decisions are final and independent from the Board of Supervisors. Any appeals shall be taken to the court of common pleas of the judicial district.

All correspondence for the Planning Commission and/or consultants should be sent to the township office.
