Road Department

The Road Department strives to provide the best possible service to the residents and visitors of Roaring Brook Township. The operations are based out of the maintenance complex located at 220 Elmhurst Boulevard. The regular scheduled hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm. However, during inclement weather, hours will vary depending on weather conditions. The road department is staffed by 2 trained and experienced full time employees and several part time summer and winter employees. Eric Schield is Roadmaster with Tony Jordan Assistant Roadmaster.

The road department provides a variety of services to our residents. They are responsible for just under 24 miles of township roadway but also maintains all township infrastructure, buildings, park, sign installation , storm drainage, winter maintenance, road equipment and police vehicle maintenance . The department also responds to diagnose sewer emergencies.
