Property Tax
In accordance with the rate of taxation established by the Second Class Township Code, the Board of Supervisors adopts tax rate annually.
Property taxes are paid to three taxing bodies – Roaring Brook Township, Lackawanna County and the North Pocono School District. Lackawanna County taxes are mailed in February of each year. Roaring Brook Township taxes are mailed by March 1st of each year. North Pocono School District’s taxes are mailed by September 1st.
